Telangana, SA ministers, MLAs hold Meeting

Hyderabad, Sept 19 (INN): A day before the meeting of State Cabinet, the ministers and legislators from Telangana and Seemandhra regions displayed a show of unity here on Thursday.

As many as 12 ministers, 17 MLAs and MLCs held a meeting the Congress Legislature Party office here to discuss the latest political situation. The Congress leaders were of the view that there should be an end to the war of words going on between the leaders of both the region on the Telangana statehood issue. Instead, the leaders should unitedly counter the attack on Congress Government by the opposition parties.

The ministers said that the internal differences were allowing the opposition parties to target Congress president Sonia Gandhi and other leaders.
