Hearing on APNGOs Strike PIL Adjourned To Sept 16
Hyderabad, Sept 2 (INN): The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Monday postponed the hearing to September 16 on a Public Interest Litigation filed against the strike of APNGOs.
The petitioner, Ravi Kumar, a Hyderabad-based lawyer, had complained to the court that common people were hit due to the strike by the APNGOs. Meanwhile, the State Government informed the court that it has enforced “No Work, No Pay” rule as per GO 177 against the employees who went on strike. The court also said that it was not in receipt of any official note on the division of State and asked the APNGOs if they had any evidence on State’s bifurcation.
The next hearing on this PIL would be taken up on September 16.
