CS Reviews Rain, Strike Situation in AP

Hyderabad, Sept 19 (INN): As per the directions of the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy the Chief Secretary Dr P K Mohanty today reviewed the rain situation, supply of essential supplies and the strike situation in the state with the officers of various departments concerned.

The Chief Secretary enquired about the steps being taken to provide relief to the people particularly in the low lying areas following heavy rains in some parts of the state. He also enquired about the situation arising out of the continuing strike by the APNGOs in the Seemandhra area.

The Chief Secretary also directed the officials to ensure supplies of essential commodities to the people in these areas.
