Women Sets Herself Ablaze Due to Harassment of in-Laws

Hyderabad, Sept 16 (INN): A 20-year-old newly married woman set herself ablaze in Karankote police limits in Ranga reddy district.

According to police, deceased – Kavitha, w/o Mahesh, r/o Tandur Ranga Reddy district was married to Mahesh few weeks back and from the last few days her in-laws were harassing her mentally and physicall for petty issues due to which she was mentally depressed and on Sept 13 Kavitha poured kerosene on herself and set ablaze with match stick, immediately she was shifted to Osmania Hospital for treatment where in undergoing treatment she died on Sept 15 late hours.

Police registered a case and after postmortem the dead body handed over to her relatives. Case is under investigation.
