Over 5,000 AP Haj pilgrims reach Saudi

Hyderabad, Oct 2 (INN): With the departure of 600 Haj pilgrims from the Hyderabad Embarkation Point, the total number of pilgrims who left for the sacred land has reached to 5260.

Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav and MIM MLC Ameen-ul-Hassan Jafferi flagged off the 17th batch of the pilgrims in the evening today while Special Officer Prof. S A. Shukoor flagged off the 16th Flight earlier in the morning.

Speaking on the occasion Janab Anjan Kumar yadav and Janab Ameen-ul-Hassan Jafferi requested the pilgrims to pray for the peace, progress and prosperity of the nation, the state and the people. They said that the pilgrims are lucky to get the opportunity for the pilgrimage they congratulated the pilgrims and wished them a happy and successful Haj journey.

Two more flights with a capacity of 350 and 300 respectively will leave for Jeddah on Thursday.
