Line Inspector and Sub-Engineer in ACB Net

Khammam, Sept 16 (INN): A Line Inspector and a Sub-Engineer from Penuballi, Khammam district were caught red handed by the ACB Officials here today.

According to the ACB Officials, accused officer Parimi Satyanarayana (45), s/o Kondaiah, occ Line Inspector and other accused officer Pudipudi Hari Praveen (27), s/o Rammurthy, occ Sub-Engineer, working in the O/o Assistant Engineer (Operations) were caught red handed by the ACB Officials at about 2:15 P M on Sept 16 at their office, when they demanded and accepted an amount of Rs 30,000 from the complainant as bribe for doing an official favour i.e. “for erecting sanctioned electric poles and to establish new transformer for electric connection to the agricultural field of the complainant”.

Bribe amount of Rs 30,000 was recovered from Pudipudi Hari Praveen (AO-2). Both the Accused have been arrested and will be produced before the Honorable IInd Additional Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Hyderabad.
