Kishore Chandra Ready to Quit Union Cabinet

Visakhapatnam, Oct 6 (INN): Union Minister for Tribal Welfare V Kishore Chandra Deo on Sunday announced that he was ready to resign from the Union Cabinet if people demand for it.

Addressing a meeting of Samaikhyandhra JAC in Viziaanagaram here, the minister said that he tried to use his position to stop the Telangana formation process at the Centre. However, he said that his efforts did not receive any support from other leaders of the region. Stating that he was in favour of united Andhra Pradesh, he said that he would submit his resignation to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh if the people demand it. (INN)
