HMDA – Clay Ganesh Idol Campaign

Hyderabad, Sept 3 (INN): This year, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is promoting as many as 30,000 Clay Ganesha idols of Eight-inches and 300 idols of Three-feet @ 12.50 and Rs 1500 each respectively after providing 50% subsidy.

Individual users were asked to register online at HMDA website after giving wide publicity for 2 months. Now HMDA is setting up 25 distribution centres across the city which is available in HMDA Website www.hmda.gov.in. The distribution of idols will be done from September 6th to 8th at these centres.

Apart from the above HMDA is also conducting “Paint your Clay Ganesha with Natural Colours” programme on September 8th at People’s Plaza, where people would paint their idols with natural colours to be supplied by College of Home Science free of cost. This activity is to promote the usage of natural colours.
