Amberpet PS Constable Convited in ACB Trap Case

Hyderabad, Sept 16 (INN): PSri Sudha, Principal Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases Hyderabad pronounced judgment in Cr.No. 7/2007, C.C.No. 23/2008 in which Accused police constable K Gnaneshwar, of Amberpet police station attached to Afzalgunj Police station Hyderabad is convicted Under section 7 of P.C. Act, 1988 for demanding and accepting illegal gratification other than legal remuneration of Rs 600 from the complainant as a motive to handover the carps of his bother from mortuary of Osmania General Hospital, Hyd, after postmortem and sentenced to undergo 1 year rigorous imprisonment for the offence punishable u/s 13 (1) (d) of P.C.Act and to pay a fine of Rs 5,000, and in default of payment of fine to undergo 6 months simple imprisonment.

Further K Gnaneshwar is sentenced to undergo 6 months rigorous imprisonment for the offence u/s 7 of P.C. Act and to pay fine of Rs 5,000, in default of payment of fine to suffer 2 months simple imprisonment.
