‘Power’ Release Postponement didn’t Benefit Small Budget Films

Postponement of the release of Ravi Teja’s ‘Power’ gave the opportunity to many producers to release their small budget film in a hurry. So, this week there was a flood of less hyped movies like ‘Boochamma boochodu’, ‘Kiraak’, ‘Raj Mahal’, ‘Ganapatho Bappa Moriya’ on the theatre screens. Except Shivaji’s film, none of the film could even push the reviewers to theatres. All the films totally failed except ‘Boochamma’ which is doing a bit well at the box office.
Kiraak has nothing new in it with regular screenplay and not so good acting from the actors and ‘Raj Mahal’ is heard to be complete failure. Next we have ‘Ganapathi Bappa Moriya’ which is based on an emotional subject but the treatment and production values are said to be the weakest killing the movie. None of the producers of the above films invested money to promote their film which is also responsible for their failures.
