Veteran Actress Sudha Shivpuri (Baa) is no More
The loving character of Baa in Ektaa Kapoor iconic and super hit daily soap “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” is no more. She passed away today in a Mumbai hospital due to multiple organ failure after being admitted for several weeks and the final rites would be performed around 2:30 PM at Oshiwara crematorium. Late Sudha Shivpuri had acted in many Bollywood films such as Swami, Burning Train, Maya Memsaab amongst others and was married to the late actor and director Om Shivpuri. Kyunki had brought many actors and actresses to limelight, including Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani and Ronit Roy amongst others. Sudha had last acted in Pinjar (2003), a Chandra Prakash Dwivedi film based on the partition of India, and also was a theater artist. But her most memorable role was in Ektaa’s soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and she endeared her way into millions of viewer’s heart with her soothing and mature acting skills.
