Venkatesh: Audiences are the real decision-makers

Victory Venkatesh says that the audiences cannot be blamed for a film’s success or failure. He is happy with the success of Drushyam which did above his expectations. He says, “If we focus on our project and give the right inputs, the audience will surely appreciate our films. I had high hopes on Masala. But it did not do well at the box office. I was not sure about the fate of Drushyam. Since it is a family subject, I acted very casually in the film. But the audiences loved it and I have realized once again that the audience is the final decision-makers.”
Venkatesh has worked in many commercial films but he is would love to do films like Kshana Kshanam and Bobbili Raja once again though he is modest enough to confess that he is no longer in the age of playing such roles. Realizing this he said that he will focus more on family entertainers and on films that touch the strings of the heart of audiences.
