Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one actor who has immense talent, expression and potential-probably on par with the versatile Irfaan Khan. Coming from a humble background and having worked his way through several tiny roles in many movies, he struck luck with Gangs of Wasseypur 2-which gave him rich success. The actor was recently honored with the best actor award in the New York Indian Film Festival for his role in Haraamkhor-where he plays a married teacher who falls in love with his student played by Shwetha Tripathi. The same movie had also won Shwetha the best actress award in Indian Film Festival at Los Angeles-where she had shared her honours with Kalki Koechlin-for one of her career best performance in Margarita with a straw. Nawazuddin has also won many Indian film awards for Jury’s prize and best supporting actor, and is considered one of the most evolving actors of recent times.
