Sunil’s Film Jakkanna’s First Look Launched

The comedian turned hero Sunil is playing the hero and Mannar Chopra is playing the heroine in a film titled ‘Jakkanna’ directed by Vamsikrishna Akella and produced by R Sudarshan Reddy on the banner of RPA Creations. This will be second movie on their banner. The announcement of film’s title and motion poster’s release were held at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad on Friday (March 18). The hero of the film Sunil personally unveiled the motion poster. Later, speaking on the occasion, hero Sunil says ‘This would be a good energetic mass entertainer. The title of the film ‘Jakkana’ would perfectly suit the story. After ‘Maryada Ramanna’ again I am working with Ram Prasad. Vamsikrishna Akella, who had earlier directed ‘Raksha’ had got compliments from Ram Gopal Varma that he had directed well. When it comes to the story, Jakkanna is famed for turning stones into several sculptures. In this film, several people think that the hero can’t do anything but he proves that he could do as many great things on his own. That is the concept of the movie.’ Producer R Sudharshan Reddy says, ‘This is our next film after ‘Prema Katha Chitramm’. We are confident that ‘Jakkanna’ would enthral everyone. The story will have as many twists like in a love subject. Sunil’s performance would remain a highlight of the flick.’ Director Vamsikrishna Akella says, ‘I thank the producer and Sunil for giving me such a good opportunity. We are planning to release the film as a summer gift. Almost 80 per cent of the film shoot was complete. We will wrap up our final schedule on March 24. The film will attract all classes of audiences.’ Raja Ravindra, art director Murali and other unit member participated.
