SRK’s ‘HYN’ Reaches to Oscar Library
Farah Khan’s `Happy New Year` has managed to become this year’s one of the most top grossing movie despite mixed response from the critics. ‘HYN’ has raked in over Rs 350 crore worldwide so far and has broken all records at the Box-Office.
Not only has this but, Farah now had more reasons to jump with joy. The choreographer-turned-director took micro blogging site Twitter to share that the script of `HNY` has reached the Oscar’s library. Farah also thanked the writers of the film. She tweeted, “1 more reason 2 celebrate!! #HNY script goes to the Oscar library!! Bigg kiss to my co writers@mayurpuri n Althea kpic.twitter.com/yXXuGF3MGi”.
Now with this superb achievement `HNY` team has all the reasons to be elated.
Reports suggest that Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has officially selected the screenplay of HNY for its permanent Core Collection.
The scripts of the film in the collection of Oscar library are accessible for research purposes to film students, filmmakers, writers, actors and others from the field of cinema.
SRK’s `Devdas and `Chak De! India` was also selected for Oscar Library and `HNY` makes his third film for this honor
