Shahid’s ‘haider’ Hits 1,464,000 View

Filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj’s upcoming film ‘Haider’ has garnered an overwhelming response on YouTube. The trailer of the film which was launched Tuesday has got more than 1,464,000 hits so far. The film has Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in a leading pair.
Shahid thanked people for their support and tweeted that, “Thank you for the overwhelming support. #Haider trailer crosses 1,000,000 views in 24hrs.”
The film is Bharadwaj’s yet another William Shakespeare adaptation. Based on ‘Hamlet’, ‘Haider’ has an awe-inspiring star cast with power house of talent Irrfan Khan, Tabu and Kay Kay Menon.
‘Haider’ is set in the backdrop of Kashmir; it is a story of a young boy who vows to avenge his father’s death. The film will hit the screen on October 2.
