Saiyami Kher Talks About her Forthcoming Film and Future Plans

Saiyami Kher who is a model-turned-actress is going to step in Tollywood with ‘Rey’ which is made by YVS Chowdary. We got a chance to talk to the actress on the eve of film’s release. Let us have a look at what she said.

When asked about how she got this film she replied, “Y V S Chowdary happened to see my photos from the Kingfisher calender shoot and selected me for the role.” About her work experience she told, “I had a great time working on this film. We shot for a long time and everyone bonded like a one huge family.” She added that she watched YVS Chowdary’s film ‘Devdas’ and she liked Ileana’s performance in it. About working with Dharam Tej she said, “I had a great time working with him and we became very good friends by the end of the shoot. He has worked very hard on the film and I hope everyone will like his performance.”

About her character in the film she told, “I play the character of a simple girl who goes to America and becomes a part of a music band there.” She said that she is disappointed with the delay in release of the film, “Of course, I was disappointed with the delay. But nothing is in my hands and I believe that good things will always have their time to come out in the open.”

She said that she didn’t have any formal training in acting, “Working on Rey has been a very big learning experience, and I treat Y V S Chowdary as my teacher.” About exposing in the films she said, “Why not ! I am open on doing any role. My character should have enough space for me to showcase my talent.”

About her future plans she revealed, “I haven’t signed anything in Telugu, but I am working on a film with Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra in Hindi.”
