Ramyasri’s ‘Malli’To Hit Screens On Marc 18

Hot actress Ramyasri turned a director and wielded megaphone for a film titled ‘o Malli’ in which she herself played the lead role. The film was produced by B Prashanth and is being presented by RA Entertainments. The film had completed all the formalities including shooting, post-production and censor formalities and is ready for release on March 18. Speaking on the occasion, Ramyasri says, ‘I struggled a lot personally on my own for the past two years as I liked the story very much. Especially in these days, a film is just four fights, six songs and two romantic scenes. But my film is not such one. It is made with a different concept and brought out it a very natural manner. Moreover, family relations are on the wane in the society so we gave preference for those relations which are disappearing from the society. I brought out the film with an innocent girl in the lead role. The film is coming up with tribals in the backdrop. We have shown the relationship between a husband and wife. I am sure to say that there is no such film so far on the Telugu screen with such a subject. Surprisingly, I did not face any troubles from the Censor Board but I am facing theatres problem to release our film. I wish the Telugu audiences make the film a big hit as our film is hitting the screens on March 18. As of now as an actress I have three projects on hand.’ Music is by Sunil Kashyap and BS Krishnamurthy, editing is by V Nagireddy, camera is by K Dutt, while story, screenplay, dialogues and direction are by Ramyasri.
