Puri Jagan gave us a great hit in the form of ‘Pokiri’. He also loves to direct small budgeted films like Nenu Naa Rakshasi and Heart Attack. He also has changed the body language of actors like Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and Prabhas.
Puri Jagan when asked about why he is like this then he answered, “One day, veteran director-writer Dasari Narayana Rao garu told me a thing. Industry will run because of 100 small movies but not because 10 big budgeted flicks. Also there will be a day in life when big-heroes dint give me dates and I’ve to depend on small budgeted flicks. He advised me to make small-movies in order to get a practice. Whatever he said is true.”
We agree with what Puri said for famous directors. When asked about the time when Puri will make a really small budget film with small characters and content then Puri replied that he is planning to make one such film. He is making big budgeted films only because producers are approaching him. Otherwise he would have made only small budget films.
