Gunasekhar’s Rudhramadevi starring Anushka is progressing at brisk pace. Recently released teasers created sensation with Anuhska wowing all with her queenly appearance. Earlier there was talk about Mahesh Babu starring in a cameo but the talk disappeared with Mahesh not speaking about it.

According to the sources, Mahesh will be shooting in the film as Gona Gannareddy, trusted lieutenant of Rudramadevi. Shooting will be starting from December on Mahesh. The film stars Rebel Star Krishnam Raju and Baba Sehgal in important roles. Ilayaraja is the music director for the film. Mahesh earlier worked with Gunasekhar in films like Okkadu, Arjun, Sainikudu.
