It is known from trusted sources that superstar NTR has forgone nearly Rs. 4 crores of his 18 crore remuneration for ‘Rabhasa’ in response to the request of producer Bellamkonda Suresh. It is usual for big stars to be particular about their pay cheques and financial obligations but Nandamuri star seems to be an exception. May be he had a soft corner for the producer who gave him assurance to promote the film in the best possible way and compensate the amount, he saved.
The film budget has also gone over estimated, due to reasons like director’s illness and also due to various script changes took 4 to 5 months. But other producers who are making films with NTR must not take him for granted because stars like him are rarely so magnanimous.
