This film is to be shot in New York,Assam,Bangladesh and West Bengal.The songs of Bhupen are also really good. Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is a bollywood actor has perfomed extremely well in the recently released film ‘Kick’ and now he is with yet another great project.He will be seen playing the role of Bhupen Hazarika’s in Biopic.His film ‘Liar’s Dice’ was nominated as India’s entry for the foreign language for prestigious OSCAR. Kalpana Lamji has approached Siddiqui for the film.Actress Sharbani Mukherjee who made her debut with superhit film ‘Border’ will enact Lajmi’s role in biopic.Pooja Bhatt’s name also doing the rounds for playing this role.
