Music Composer Turns Film Producer In 2014

Oscar winning music composer A R Rahman’s music was a big draw for the recently released Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. He is all set to turn film producer later this year. . He says he always took keen interest in film making process.
The ace composer said that, “Our first production is almost ready to roll. It’s in Hindi. I would be there to oversee it. We have chalked out a wonderful team to take care of the film production”.
Rahman says that he has no plans to take up direction like Vishal Bhardwaj. He sees film production as a natural progression in his life.
He further added, “Whether it was Mani Ratnam or Danny Boyle whom I worked with in my musical capacity, I was always asking them questions about film making. It was just a matter of time before I got seriously involved in the process of making films”.
