'Mirziya' not been made with established actors says the filmmaker

Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra who is all set to make the film ‘Mirziya’ has cast new actors Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher since it required fresh faces he says that it could not have been made with established actors.
Mehra said, “I did not want to take known actors because they come with a certain baggage and the audience is familiar with them. The film is a fresh take on this legendary love story, so it needed young, fresh faces”.
When the filmmaker met actor Anil Kapoor’s son, Harshvardhan knew he had found his Mirza.
Mehra is entering a new territory with ‘Mirziya’, as he has never experimented with love stories before but the filmmaker does not consider it a challenge.
