Masala Movie Review
Story
Rahman (Ram Pothineni) after losing his property in court dispute leaves his place Bheemarajapuram to make his living along with his sister Sania (Anjali) . Circumstances force him to cover his identity and join as Ram to work as supervisor under Village strong man Balaram (Venkatesh Daggubati) with the help of his uncle Narayana (MS.Narayana).He falls in love with Balram sister Meenakshi (Meenakshi) who is eyed by Balaram rival (Posani). Where all this lead to should be enjoyed on sivler screen.
Performance
Venkatesh enertained in his role with his powerful funny engish oneliners. Ram is ok but do not attact as gay. Anjali and Shazan Padamsee don’t have much role to perform. Anjali is good looking in songs.
Analysis
The film is just copy paste from Hindi film Bol Bachchan which itself is a remake of Hindi classic GOl Maal. Director Vijaya Bhaskar failed to come up with any creativity. He failed miserably in story, screenplay and direction. Except for Venkatesh none took their jobs seriously. With nothing in the story Masala’s first half drags while the second half tests the patience of movie lovers.
