Manisha Koirala returns to acting as ‘Tragedy Queen’

Actress Manisha Koirala is doing her comeback in Bollywood. The actress who was last seen in the film ‘Bhoot Returns’ in 2002 will play the role of yesteryears superstar Meena Kumari in a film based on her life.
According to the reports the veteran actress step son Tajdar Amrohi will produce this biopic. Director Shashilal Nair ‘Ek Chhoti Si Love Story’ fame is been approached by the producer to direct the film. It is wondered if Manisha would work with Shashilal Nair yet again since they do not share a pleasant rapport.
Manisha and Nair were initially very good friends but has a massive fall-out over the content of their 2002 film `Ek Chhoti Si Love Story`.
The actress who is currently busy shooting for a Malayalam film titled ‘Edavapathi – No Man’s Land’ had took a break from acting since she was undergoing treatment for ovarian cancer.
