Kick 2 has Lion to Compete this Month-will it Recover its Huge Budget

Post the success of Kick, Ravi Teja will be seen in Kick 2-made to be a stylish sequel. The film is set to be released this month, and is rumored to be made around a budget of around 40 Crores-for which the movie needs to be a continuous success for at least 2-3 weeks or more. Kick 2 has competition from Balakrishna’s Lion-which is set to be released in this month and it’s to be seen if both the films match their audience and collection expectations. Kick 2 is scheduled to be released on 22’ May and has Current Theega heroine Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead-with the music being a hit already. Balayya’s Lion would be released on May 14’ and has Trisha playing the female lead. The last few times (Between Kick and Mitrudu/Okka Magadu and Krishna) this happened, we saw Balayya losing race to Ravi Teja and its now to be seen how they both fare.
