I Enjoy Playing Powerful Villain its Suit my Image : Baahubali Actor
“Jilla” and “Sigaram Thodu” fame actor Charandeep, who is known for his role as antagonist in these Tamil films, says he likes to be seen as a powerful villain.
Charandeep said, “I have no reservations about playing any role. In fact, I enjoy playing a powerful villain. I think it suits my image”.
He feels he’s cut out to play the baddie and he thanks to his dark, tall and six-pack sporting body.
The actor, who has four Telugu films and one film each in Kannada and Tamil in a row said, “I spent about three years on learning mixed martial arts and developing six-pack abs. I think all that is finally paying off”.
The actor is most excited about his film “Boxer” which marks his debut in Kannada film industry under the direction of Preetham Gubbi.
He said, “‘Boxer’ is an out-and-out action film that revolves around kickboxing. The hero and I are pitted against each other in the ring”.
While shooting for the film his experience in mixed martial arts came in handy he admits.
Charandeep will be soon seen in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus “Bahubali“.
He said, “I play the villain’s brother in the movie. I have limited screen presence in the first part, but I return in an extended role in the second”.
Besides “Baahubali” he also has “Vinavayya Ramayya”, “Vyuhama and “Tungabhadra” in Telugu. He all geared up to team up with with “Sigaram Thodu” director Gaurav Narayan again for a film in Tamil.
