Harish Shankar, Though A Success, Have No Projects On Hand

Harish Shankar entered the film industry as an assistant director to work for the movie Ninne Ishtapaddanu. Later, he became close to Kona Venkat and learnt script writing. His close association with Kona Venkat made him closer to Raviteja. Then Raviteja noticing the spark in him gave him a chance to do a film with him and their combination had been brought out a film like ‘Shock’ in 2006. The film failed to turn out a hit commercially and the flop made Harish Shankar off the film industry for almost five years. However, Raviteja had revitalised his hope and gave him another chance to direct him and the combination proved a hit this time and their success took shape with the title ‘Mirapakay’ in 2011. Soon, Harish Shankar gave a blockbuster like ‘Gabbar Siingh’. His next film ‘Subrahmanyam for Sale’ was a moderate hit. After that he failed to get any chances further though many top class artistes had promised him to give dates but it failed to materialise. Now, he is lying idle despite three successive hits.
