Popular music director GV Prakash turned hero with ‘Pencil’ with Sri Divya of Malla Teeralo Sirimalle Puvvu, Bus stop, Kerintha and Manasaara-fame. Mani Nagaraj, who worked as an associate with Gautham Menon for films like Manmatha, Cheli, Raghavan and Gharshana, got promotion as director and is wielding the megaphone of this bilingual simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil languages. M Purushottam is presenting the movie, while successful distributor G Hari on the banner of Hari Venkateswara Pictures. GV Prakash himself scored tunes for the movie and launched the audio online. The film-makers are planning to release the film during this month by completing all the other formalities. Speaking on the occasion, producer Hari says, ‘The film runs with school and college in its backdrop. In this youthful film, there is a thrilling element. We are sure that the film would definitely attract the Telugu audiences especially the youth and hence I am producing it. We are confident that the film would entertain the audiences in this summer. Srimani penned fantastic lyrics for all the songs for the tunes of GV Prakash. We have unveiled the audio online and there is a lot of response to our songs. We are planning to release the film in Telugu and Tamil language simultaneously during this month as a summer special.
