Foley Recording Introduced in Telugu Films with ‘Bahubali’

Bahubali is a grand movie. From today in this film, internationally known Foley artiste Phillipe Van Leer will work in this film for a period of two weeks at the Dame Blanche complex in Belgium. With this a new concept of Foley will be introduced in Telugu films. Phillipe is very popular Foley artist in Europe. When you search for Foley in the Wikipedia you will get the definition as, “Foley is the reproduction of everyday sound effects that are added to film, video, and other media in post-production to enhance audio quality. These reproduced sounds can be anything from the swishing of clothing and footsteps to squeaky doors and breaking glass. The best foley art is so well integrated into a film that it goes unnoticed by the audience.” If you want to understand then this technique will give the perfect background and other sounds that will make scenes very effective. Foley artiste will recreate sounds like footsteps on hard marble, ripple of a cloth in the wind, splashing of water etc. The recording with the help of Foley will start from 3rd to 14th November. P.M. Sateesh is the sound designer for the film. Rana Daggubati will be seen in a negative role in the film while Prabhas is playing the lead role in this big-budgeted film the shooting of which is currently going on in Ramoji Film City. This film is produced under Arka Mediaworks. Anushka and Tamanna are the lead ladies in the film.
