Bollywood Boosts Football with a New Film and John Abraham’s FPL Team

Football hasn’t been much of a hit in India, with even films not showing much of the sport in their storylines as against cricket and boxing. Now, an upcoming film starting Kai Po Che actor Amit Sadh is to be directed by Mohit Suri and it would be the story of a football club along with five characters including Rupa Ganguli (Draupadi of Mahabharatha Fame). The film would be announced shortly and would have Ronit Roy playing the father of Amit.

Talking about Football, John Abraham is one actor who is very interested in the sport and has been promoting it at every juncture. He owns the North East United in the Indian premier league for Football and has Sourav, Sachin, Virat, and MS Dhoni as other team owners.
The star is all set be one bollywood star who has decided to look beyond cricket along with Abhisekh Bachchan who has been promoting Kabaddi and has his own team.
