Big B Suffers from TB in 2000

Megastar of Bollywood the legendary Amitabh Bachchan had previously been the face of polio eradication in the country. Now Big B has been chosen as the brand ambassador by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for its anti-TB campaign by the state government.
Mr. Bachchan revealed that he suffered from Tuberculosis in the year of 2000.
Big B revealed more about TB said when ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ was about to be launched in the year 2000 he suffered from the disease. He recalled, “I would feel tiredness and loss of appetite. When I checked with doctors, I was diagnosed with the ailment. It can be treated and one does not need to stop their daily routine. I worked on KBC without any problem”.
Big B feels proud of the Indian Medical facilities and thinks that just like polio was eradicated through measures of awareness across the nation, now it is important to eliminate TB.
