Australia opener Shane Watson hit a world record 15 sixes against Bangladesh in the second ODI in Mirpur. Australia won by nine-wickets. Watson remained not out 185 out of just 96 balls.
Previous record of 12 sixes was scored by West Indies batsman Xavier Marshall against Canada in 2008. Watson hit four sixes in 22nd over of left-arm spinner Suhrawadi Shuvo.
If the Bangladesh had scored 20 more runs, Watson would have become the second player after Sachin Tendulkar to score a double century in ODIs.
