Sehwag wins ICC award

Virender Sehwag won the ICC Test Cricketer of the Year award. Based on the performance between August 2009 and 2010 the awards announced. The awards are judged by a 25-person voting academy, which is entirely independent of ICC. Recently Sehwag equalled record for the most consecutive half centuries. with fellow opener Gautam Gambhi and the West Indies genius Vivian Richards.
South African batsman AB de Villiers won the ODI player of the year award. While masterblaster Sachin Tendulkar won the ICC People’s Choice Award.
