Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar refused a mega offer to endorse a liquor brand. World Sports Group (WSG), who look after his endorsements, confirmed the offer but refused to name the liquor company.
It is reported that Sachin was offered Rs 20 crore per year to endorse the liquor brand. The contract would have been for three years which would be worth Rs 60 crore. But he refused stating that he would never lend his name to liquor or tobacco related products.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni recently signed for a three-year deal with Vijay Mallya’s UB Group, which is worth Rs 26 crores.
