India 200 for 4 on 3rd day in 2nd test India dismissed Sri Lanka for 292 in the first innings to get a 37 run lead. Harbhajan Singh took 6 wickets conceding 102 runs. In the second innings India were 200 for 4 when play was called off early because of bad light.

Gambhir and Sehwag scored half centuries. Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman were at the crease at stumps.

India now have an overall lead of 237 runs with 6 wickets on hand. Two more days of play is left in the second test.

India has a chance to beat Sri Lanka, if they put on a target of 350 runs plus.
