Dhoni’s Twenty20 team practices at Lord’s
Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his Twenty20 team-mates held a practice session at the Lord’s on Saturday as they prepare for their title defense in the ICC World Twenty20 championship beginning in London on June 5.
The Team India is scheduled to play two practice games against New Zealand and Pakistan before heading to Nottingham for their league games.
India play their opening match against Bangladesh on June 6 with Ireland being their other opponent in Group A of the 12-team tournament.
Before the team’s departure from Mumbai, Dhoni said he was confident of retaining the title as the present team had enough experience of Twenty20 cricket.
