Cricket World Cup: India still has chance of being knocked out

Today’s crucial match between England and West Indies has something to do with India’s chances of making it to the last eight in cricket world cup. England has last chance to keep their hope for a place in the quarter-finals. A victory against West Indies may or may not qualify them for the next round, but defeat will certainly force them out of World Cup.

In Group A, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and Srilanka have already qualified. In Group B it is still wide open. If West Indies are beaten by England by a big margin and India loses against the West Indies in their last group match, Bangladesh with a win against South Africa, may qualify for the quarterfinals alongside West Indies and England.
