2nd Test: South Africa all out for 296

India enacted a stunning comeback into the game on the first day of the second test at Eden Gardens, Kolkota. Winning the toss and electing to bat, South Africa was cruising along at 218 for one with Alviro Petersen (100) and Hashim Amla (114). Then disaster struck them. Zaheer Khan sent back both century-makers while Harbhajan Singh struck thrice. At stumps on the first day, South Africa was 266 for 9.
On the second day, the visitors were all out for 296 in their first innings. At the time of writing this news bulletin, India were 75 for one, after Gambhir was run out.
