YS Jagan joins TDP protest in Lok Sabha
Congress MP from Kadapa Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, son of the late Andhra Pradesh chief minister Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, made common cause with the MPs of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in the Lok Sabha Today for the cause of a United Andhra Pradesh.
YS Jagan, shook hands with the TDP MPs, took a placard from them and waved it near Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar’s podium to establish the point that “we want a united Andhra Pradesh”.
The division in the Congress ranks was more than evident as party MPs clashed in the Lok Sabha over the Telangana issue, forcing the adjournment of the house for 10 minutes.
The Congress MPs from Telangana region asked for disciplinary action against YS Jaganmohan Reddy and also against Vijayawada MP L Rajagopal for starting an indefinite fast for united Andhra Pradesh as they have violated the Congress high command’s decision on Telangana.
