Kadapa MP Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has defied the directive of the Congress high command and has decided to go ahead with his ‘Odarpu Yatra’ of Warangal district to console the families of those who died after the demise of his father, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy.
On Thursday morning, APCC in-charge and Union minister, Veerappa Moily, talked to Jaganmohan Reddy and asked him to postpone the tour. He told the Kadapa MP that he was talking on behalf of the Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
Though negotiations between Jagan and the congrss party leaders were continuing even late at night, he is reportedly adamant about undertaking the yatra. There is a likelihood that he may be arrested if he starts his yatra from Mahabubabad.
