US. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in Mumbai on Friday on a five-day visit to India and her vist is expected to launch a new chapter in the strategic partnership between India and USA.
Clinton will stay at the Tower Wing of the Taj Hotel in Mumbai to symbolically express her solidarity with the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack t.
Clinton will meet top Indian business leaders and will also visit a centre of the Self-Employed Women’s Association (SEWA). She is expected to leave for New Delhi on Sunday. In the Capital, she will meet Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and hold talks with External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna. She will also meet UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Leader of the Opposition L K Advani. She will also deliver a lecture at the Delhi University.
