Union Cabinet reshuffle: Eight in and Seven out

The long awaited UPA-2 cabinet reshuffle had taken place today. The Prime Minister dropped seven ministers and inducted V. Kishore Chandra Deo from Andhra Pradesh and seven other new faces. Three others including Jairam Ramesh were elevated to the cabinet rank. There is no change in the top 4 – the ministries of Finance, Home, Defence and External Affairs.

The following are the changes in the list of the Union Council of Ministers:
