Two TDP MPs Again Suspended From Rajya Sabha
New Delhi, August 27 (INN): Two Telugu Desam Party members were suspended from Rajya Sabha for a day for disrupting the proceedings of the House on Tuesday.
Deputy Chairman PJ Kurien took action against TDP MPs CM Ramesh and YS Chowdhary for the second consecutive day after they declined to resume their seats and continued protest by shouting slogans against the division of Andhra Pradesh. “I will again have to take action against you. Don’t make me do the unpleasant job,” Kurien said after the TDP MPs started their protest immediately after beginning of Zero Hour. He requested the TDP MPs to allow the House to function smoothly.
However, the TDP members did not respond to Kurien’s appeals which consequently led to their suspension from the House for a day.
Both the members were suspended from the House for a day on Monday for stalling the proceedings of the House on the Telangana issue.
