TRS turns violent
The followers of Telangana Rashtra Samithi turned violent today. They attacked the Lanco office complex, Dharani Devi, in Hyderabad and damaged the glass panes and some cars parked in front of the office.
The provocation appears to be a car accident. Lagadapati Rajagopal, MP, who owns Lanco, was going to Nizamabad to felicitate APCC President D Srinivas along with Pranab Mukherjee. The car in which the MP is travelling allegedly hit a TRS worker, when a group of TRS activists tried to block the motorcade.
Harish Rao, TRS MLA demanded the immediate arrest of the MP and his driver. Meanwhile, about 200 TRS activists, who are attending a training class at the TRS Bhavan went on a rampage and destroyed the glass panes of Lanco office in Jubilee Hills.
Lagadapati Rajagopal is reported to have started a dharna at the Gandhi statue in Nizamabad demanding an unconditional apology from TRS.
