TGV Asks TDP and YSRCP to Oppose Telangana
Hyderabad, July 28 (INN): Minor Irrigation Minister TG Venkatesh on Sunday demanded that the Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress party write a letter to the Centre in support of united Andhra Pradesh.
Talking to reporters here, Venkatesh said that lack of opposition by the political parties have led the Centre to take a decision in favour of Telangana State. He said that the opposition parties, especially TDP and YSRCP, should come out in open against Telangana State.
Venkatesh said that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy would resign from the post if the State was divided. Further, he said that the Seemandhra ministers too would resign from their posts. He said that if formation of Telangana was inevitable, then Rayalaseema should be made a separate State by adding Nellore and Prakasam districts in the region.
