Telangana: Ramachandraiah Quits Cabinet
Hyderabad, August 13 (INN): Endowments Minister C Ramchandraiah resigned from the State Cabinet on Tuesday in protest against the decision of the Centre to bifurcate in Andhra Pradesh.
Ramchandraiah, a close associate of Union Minister K Chiranjeevi, faxed his resignation to the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. His resignation came a day after two other ministers Kondru Murali Mohan and Shatrucharla Vijayarama Raju resigned from the cabinet. With his resignation, the total number of Seemandhra ministers who quit the cabinet increased to13.
It may be mentioned that minister Gnanta Srinivasa Rao, another former PRP leader and close associated of Chiranjeevi had already resigned from the State Cabinet.
