Telangana Heats Up….Resignation count reaches…99
Agitations for statehood of Telangana State are gearing up through out the region, supporting resignations submitted by elected leaders and also by raising voice against Central Government’s negligence in formation of new state.
Resignation count by elected political leaders of Telangana region is nearing 100. Apart from Congress and TDP MLA’s resigned yesterday, the same is followed by few other MLAs and MPs from the region. Earlier in morning TRS MP Vijayashanti resigned from Medak constituency, whose chief KCR resigned from Mahabubnagar constituency in midnight. There is tremendous response from the people of region for 48hrs bandh called by
TJAC. Inspired by heat created in the region, 4 MLA’s from CPI party also resigned. On the other hand, 2 MPs, Nama Nageswar Rao and Ramesh Rathod, from Telugu Desam party also resigned. Resignations concluded by 2 MLA’s of BJP and 11 TRS MLA’s for the day July 5th 2011….and total resignation count reaches 99. Senior Congress Party leaders from the region are having discussions with Azaad, in charge for AP Congress party, but till now no response came from Central Government about the exact procedure or process of formation of Telangana.
