TDP Leaders Meet Governor Seeking Geetha's Dismissal

Hyderabad, Sept 18 (INN): A delegation of TDP leaders led by MLAs M Narasimhulu and R Chandrasekhar Reddy on Wednesday called on Governor ESL Narasimhan seeking the dismissal of Major Industries Minister Dr J Geetha Reddy.

Talking to reporters after submitting a memorandum to the Governor at Raj Bhavan, Narasimhulu said that the TDP leaders have requested Narasimhan to use his discretionary powers to sack Geetha Reddy and other ministers who have been named as accused in the CBI chargesheet in Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Disproportionate Assets case. They said eight ministers who have been named by the CBI have been continuing on their posts.

Alleging that late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy and his son Jagan Mohan Reddy looted the State from 2004 to 2009, they urged the Governor to order seizure of Jagan’s properties and distribute the same among poor beneficiaries.
